Sea Eagle LongBoard Series
The LongBoard series of inflatable SUPs is designed for all-around use in a wider variety of situations than the Needle Nose boards by sacrificing some of the speed due to the design differences.
These boards come in two models, the 11’ and 12’6”. The boards are pretty much the same all the way around, being 6” thick and having an all-rounder design which is ultra-stable at 30” wide. All of this adds up to the perfect board for touring while still allowing you have some room for real speed.
This board has a nice overall rocker to it, a slight curve along the entire length of the board culminates in a 4” nose rocker and a 2” tail rocker to keep it smooth while you’re in rougher water.
Like all of the boards from Sea Eagle it has an EVA foam Diamond Pattern to allow for great foot-grip and superior control while you’re on the water. Like the Needle Nose, it also has a kick tail to allow for tight maneuvering. In this case, the maneuverability is simply outstanding due to the shorter length of the boards as well as the pitch of the hull.

This series of board is a standout example of what Sea Eagle has accomplished in just a short time since adapting their technology to inflatable SUPs from their kayak and dinghy models.
The LongBoard is extremely versatile in its usage, making a perfect inflatable for those who like to travel. Whether you’re carving waves on the coast, fishing in a lake, or gliding down a river it’ll perform great, the only thing you probably won’t be doing with it anytime soon is racing. We think it’s a solid trade-off for the average hobbyist.
Things We Like
- This is, by far, the most versatile of the boards put out by Sea Eagle
- The paddle pocket is a nice touch and makes it much easier to launch
- The slight curve of the board is nice in choppy waters
- The rear skeg can be slid out quite easily, allowing for easy storage

- Doesn’t track quite as well as the Needle Nose boards
- Not quite as stable as the Sea Eagle Hybrid

When it comes to a standup paddle kayak you really don’t need much. Inflatable paddle boards lend themselves quite well to this due to their thickness.
For the most part, the big things you need are a seat and a kayak paddle which will allow you to dip on both sides of your paddleboard-cum-kayak.

Sea Eagle Fishing Inflatable Paddleboards
In addition to their normal recreational boards, Sea Eagle has an inflatable SUP for fishing. The FishSUP is a 12’6” model which is an even 40”wide to provide a stable platform for fishing while you’re riding it.It can also support 350lbs due to its heavy duty design, so you’ll be able to haul as much gear as you want.
There are four different models, with successively higher costs but more features.
The FishSUP 126 Start-Up package is the absolute basic. You’ll receive the fishing SUP and the pieces of kit you’ll need to get it going. It’s the model described above, and also comes with a fishing rod holder at the front of the board. It also comes with a storage box designed to make the most of the cargo compartment at the front of your board.
The Deluxe kit comes with the board, a seat, and a double paddle to allow you to maneuver your SUP like a kayak while you’re seated. This makes it much more versatile for fishing since you’ll have more control over your entire setup.
The Swivel Seat kit is roughly the same as the Deluxe kit with two exceptions: the seat which comes with the board can be mounted and swivels a full 360°. It also has two extra rod holders for serious fishing potential.
And lastly, the Pro Motor Fishing Rig comes with everything in the Deluxe kit plus a small motor known as the Watersnake Venom 34. The motor is a quiet, lightweight device which is designed to give you the best fishing experience possible from a SUP.
Frankly, these are some of the best fishing paddle boards we’ve seen anywhere.
If you’d rather go with something a little bit cheaper, there are also options available for Sea Eagle’s other three series of boards which make them more suitable for fishing. These include a swivel seat, rod holders, and kayak paddles.
They’re available for the Hybrid, LongBoard, and Needle Nose boards if you’d rather outfit your recreational board for fishing, as opposed to investing in the more expensive FishSUP 126.
