Cons

  • Not suitable for beginners
  • Too slow to maneuver for sport use

For extreme adventuring, there’s nothing quite like the Voyager inflatable SUPs. They come in three different widths, a 12’6” model for lighter riders, a larger 13’2” model for those who are a bit bigger, and an enormous 15’ model for two or three riders.

All of them are also quite streamlined, with the smaller two models only being 30” wide and the tandem model sitting at 34”. Combined with the long, single fin they’re great for touring with gear since the fin will help reduce tail drift.

There are two areas for cargo on the board, at the front and the back. This makes them ideal for long adventures, where you’ll be able to carry all of your stuff as you go along.

These boards are long and fairly hard to control for beginners, so if you’re planning on touring with one they don’t make a good choice for your first SUP.

There are three RAM mounts for different ports, whether you want to keep a GPS or a fishing pole on your board.

And, as usual for Red Paddle Co., you’ll also get all of the accessories, an awesome Titan pump, and a backpack to keep it all together on the way out.

This is a great inflatable SUP for those who are into longer adventures or just want a board to cruise for extended periods. The tandem model is a nice touch as well, meaning you’ll need fewer boards on group adventures.
